- Why would I need a website? - Every business should have a website as it would have sales literature. If you are not on the web most of your competitors probably are!
- How long will it take to complete my website? - Obviously this depends on our work load at the time you place your order. Most are completed within one day from when we start providing we have all the details from you to hand.
- What if I need more than the 8 pages from this offer? - Extra pages are £25.00 + V.A.T each.
- When the website is complete can I have pages edited? - Yes, small edits such as telephone number or address changes are free - larger edits may cost up to £25.00 + V.A.T each.
- Can I sell my products on-line? - Yes, we can integrate an e-commerce system (PayPal) so you can accept card payments from around the globe 24/7/365. A set up charge will be applied. For details fill out this form with your requirements.
- Can I have a photo gallery on my website? - Yes, for this offer up to 30 images per website - we will also take care of any size reduction needed.
- Is it possible to have a page counter? - Yes.
- Are there any charges for monthly data transfer? - No.
- Will my site be at the top in the search engines? - We submit to Google, Yahoo & LiveSearch. Most of the smaller search engines are partnered with these three. Not everyone can be at the top however if you supply us with good text and keywords it'll certainly help you get near the top.
- What domain name extensions are available? - .co.uk - .com - .biz .eu - .net
- How can I know if a domain name is available? - Let us know what you want and we'll check for you.
- What is a CSS template? - CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheet. What this basically means is that the page styles, fonts (sizes, type, colour etc) links, page colours etc are controlled by one CSS. The actual template does not need images. This reduces the amount of code to build a web page meaning faster opening of pages and more search engine friendly. We will choose a CSS template for you that will be suitable in size and design for amount of text and images you send us.
- What if I don't have a logo & I don't have the budget to have one made? - No problem - we'll user text or design a banner for your trading name that will blend in with the rest of the site as part of the deal.
- Can I have a links on my web pages? - Yes, providing you send them to us! Links help with search engine rankings.
- How much will it cost after the first year? - Unless you want pages edited just the hosting and domain name charges. At this time we cannot tell what they will be but most probably not more than £100 + V.A.T.
